maxwave is a company specialized in all aspects of electromagnetic compatibility and has vast experience in measuring the electromagnetic radiation of wireless base stations. maxwave was one of the first companies performing NIR measurements according to the Ordinance relating to Protection from Non-Ionising Radiation (ONIR) of the Swiss Agency for the Environment, Forests and Landscapes (SAEFL) and was intensively involved in the evaluation process of the test methods valid for Switzerland. In September 2003 maxwave was accredited by the Swiss Federal Office of Metrology and Accreditation for NIR measurements according to ISO 17025. maxwave has also developed a computer program for the calculation of radiation predictions near base stations, which is used by mobile communication providers as well as authorities.

Dr. Georg Klaus, CEO of maxwave, is an electrical engineer with 25 years of experience in EMF. He also gives lectures on Electromagnetic Compatibility at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and is a member of the core group of the Technical Program Committee of the EMC Zurich Symposium.
